Affiliate Marketing: Choosing The Best Model For You
Guest Post by Chris Ruminski There are a good number of authors out there who earn a full time living by writing and selling E-books. They are the minority; most people do not make much from their efforts. Usually these people don’t put in the necessary effort in either the writing or promoting process. When written properly, an E-book can act as a gateway to your website or online program. This can bring repeat traffic and promote your business while you earn money from the sales. Using E-books as a promotion strategy can be very effective. Writing a Free E-Book You don’t have to charge for an E-book to bring traffic to your site. Actually free E-books can bring more traffic than the ones people have to pay for. When someone gets an E-book for free they won’t expect the whole story to be laid out for them. It was free after all. You can provide them with links to your website, or affiliate programs, within the E-book. Entice your readers by providing a bit of whatever you are selling in the book and then provide them with a link to your site. Write an E-book to Sell If you write an E-book with the intent of charging for it you better have something good to say. You can make a lot of money if your information is worth buying. It is good practice to take the time and really research and layout your E-book before you write it. So how can you get your E-book found and get purchased. Affiliates – Don’t take the responsibility of selling an E-book on all by your lonesome. There are many communities out there that will help sell your book for you. You will have to pay a good commission to entice people to sell your product, but in the end it is 100% profits. It is recommended to offer at least 50% of the selling price to your affiliates. Tandem – A great way to sell your book is to write both a free and a paid E-book. Your free one will be used to entice people to buy the paid one, and the paid one will give them much more advice than they could have learned with the free book. It is important to actually provide good information in your paid E-book or you will face a barrage of complaints. PPC Advertising – If you are feeling saucy, you could look into promoting your product with pay per click advertising. Depending on your topic, this could be really expensive. If you are trying to sell an E-book on mortgages, forget about it. You might have to spend over $5 per click. There is no way you could recoup that cost. Article Marketing – This approach isn’t just for websites anymore. You can write articles based on the topic of your book and provide links to the book for more information. It is important to write a lot of articles to get your product out there. Forum Signatures – Sell your product through forum signatures. This won’t bring in a lot of sales, but every little bit helps. If you are persistent and can convince a lot of people to promote your book for you, you can make tons of money while promoting your website. An E-book can be a great investment in time if you are a decent writer with good information to sell. If you are not willing to put forth effort in your endeavors, you will never make any money. There are many different ways to make money on the web, and they all require a commitment of time and energy. Dot Com Pho – Entrepreneur Heroes Edition
The online auction is nothing new. If you’re looking to score a deal on a new Nintendo Wii or maybe a used digital camera, heading to a place like eBay isn’t such a bad idea. One of the newer developments in recent years is the penny auction, giving you the opportunity to buy an iPod for pennies on the dollar. Quite literally. Taking a slightly different approach to this concept is Bid on Cash , the website that serves as the subject of today’s review . As its name implies, you actually bid on cash prizes. Getting into the Game Getting started with Bid on Cash is a very quick and painless process. First, you’ll need to fill out the user registration form , which really only asks for a username, email address, and password. From there, you’ll need to confirm your email address and you’re pretty much ready to go. There is a section to fill out the rest of your personal profile, but you don’t have to do this right away. You will, however, need to spend a little cash to buy some bids. So, How Does It Work? In case you’re not familiar with the penny auction system , you need to buy bids (a dollar each) that you can subsequently spend on the various auctions. Each time that a new bid is placed on a prize, the cost of the auction goes up by a penny and the countdown timer goes up for a set amount of time. As you can imagine, the auction ends when the timer runs out. The key, then, is to get in the last bid, hoping that no one else puts down another bid after you. The difference with Bid on Cash is that you are, well, bidding on a cash prize of varying value. The prizes seem to start at $30 on the low end, all the way up to about $400 on the high end. If you figure that each dollar spent on a bid results in one extra penny in the value of the auction, then Bid on Cash needs to get at least 30 bids ($0.30 value) to break even on a $30 auction. Look at the list of closed auctions , it seems that they’re currently falling pretty far behind on that goal. Most auctions are ending at below the break-even mark; I saw a $100 auction end at 11 cents. In effect, Bid on Cash lost $89 there, not including the other costs involved in running the site. BidJames is Your Automated Sniper While you could spend hours on end staring at the main page of Bid on Cash, eyeing the auctions that are soon drawing to a close, you can set up an automated solution instead. That solution is called BidJames . This virtual assistant, so to speak, will automatically bid on the auctions on your behalf. You activate his services, tell him the bid range and the number of bids to use, and he’ll do the rest. As you can imagine, you can burn through the bids pretty quickly using a system like this. Getting Extra Free Bids You can buy additional bids for the site in packs of 20, 30, 50, or 100, but there is no incentive to buy the larger bundles. It always works out to a dollar a bid and, from a business standpoint, I recommend Bid on Cash provide more of an incentive to “players” to buy the larger bundles. If you don’t want to buy more bids, you can earn some free bids by referring your friends. When someone signs up and buys a bid package using a referral link , you get 10 free bids and the referral gets one free bid. The Penny Auction for Cash You probably shouldn’t expect to get rich from Bid on Cash. It can be a fun game, perhaps, but it can get very expensive at a dollar a bid. Also, like all the other penny auctions on the Internet, you do run into the possibility of fraud and deceit. I received five free bids to do this review and, well, I was always outbid. I saw others win auctions at much lower totals. CLICK HERE TO BID ON CASH Discover the SECRETS I’ve Learned to go from zero a month to over $40,000 a month from blogging. I have been using FaceBook for over two years and slowly have found it to be very useful for staying in contact with family and close friends. About two months ago I decided to REMOVE everyone I had added as a friend who I didn’t know personally. The result ended with me having around 100 people I truly wanted to follow day to day closely. Prior to doing this, I wasn’t able to see what was going on because my News Feed was overtaken by 1000’s of updates from fans from my blog. I have finally gotten around to creating a FaceBook Fan Page and wanted to extend an invitation for you to join. Doing so will give you a chance to win a free blog or website design by yours truly. So if you’re a fan of GarryConn.com and would like to stay in the loop with things going on in my dot Com world, be sure to join in… and once again, it could bring you a free design service offered by me. Every day millions of people come online and start a blog or website with the intention to make money online. Unfortunately, most people fail to make any money online, while others are only moderately successful. Whereas, only a few number of people are able to realize their ambition to make money online and leave their day job. It is important to think why most people fail to make any money online. I am writing this post to analyze a few top reasons why people fail to make money online: 1. Impatience It is the number one criteria between those who are successful in making money online and those who are not. They Dream to Get Too Much Too Fast. What they do not understand is that making money online takes time and it is a gradual climb up a pyramid to reach the top. Along the way you learn a lot of things that are required to create a massive cash stream from the internet. But many get impatient and quit in the early stages of their initiative. 2. Lack of Knowledge Most people who come online for the first time to make money online are totally unaware of the basics in making money online. They are unaware of what is Search Engine Optimization, they are hardly aware of the importance of social media tools such as Twitter. Then they expect that they can make a lot of money fast online. Unfortunately, learning to make money online is an art and it takes time to master it. 3. Poor Application It is quite commonly observed that many webmasters will browse from one blog to another to read posts that will help them enhance their money making skills. Unfortunately, they fail to apply the knowledge which they have acquired. Making money online requires you to take actions and be a proactive decision maker. You cannot expect to make money online by simply maintaining a blog. 4. Fly by Night Schemes In the impatience to make money online , many people get desperate and get stuck with fly-by-night schemes that fool many. There is no lack of people on the internet who are ready to take advantage of your desperate measures to make money online. Then you end up demoralized and may even lose your money due to these scams. So it is important you put in your time and effort in legitimate and trusted money making services. 5. No Action Plan If you are trying to make money online then you require an action plan to see yourself successful in the future. Those who lack an action plan to proceed in their ventures online will eventually lose focus. They try to get into too many streams trying to generate revenue and fail to make any money in the end. So it should be your commitment to avoid these costly mistakes. Related posts: 10 Reasons Why Your Blog Does Not Make Money Online 5 Wrong Thinking that Cause Many Bloggers to Fail Miserably
